There is something  to be said for coming full-circle in life. In my teens (the late fifties) I became enthralled with radio. There seemed to be magic in the very personal, yet anonymous, relationships formed between  disc jockeys and their listeners. As shy and self-conscious (yes, I know that's hard to believe) as I was there was a powerful attraction to the concept.

Today radio has changed. Become homogenized, many would say. Run by a few giant corporations with little of the fun and spontaneity left. But at the same time the internet has come along as a world-enveloping "transmitter" allowing anyone to broadcast for free! Well, yes, you have to have internet access but we'll assume that. Visit www.live365.com for more information.

In addition here comes Podcasting! As I get time I'll put together a couple of podcasts for your entertainment.  To see what's out there check http://www.podcastdirectory.com/ .

So here I am. Back "on the air". In which incarnation? Well, I've done everything from country to concert formats. I guess my favorite would have to be golden oldies but there are so many of those stations on the net now. Some are really great!
